Artwork

Depending on the product ordered, “artwork” can mean different things. For a custom product that is preprinted but allows for a customizable imprint area, the artwork will be the logo. Logo’s will need to be at least 300 DPI and cannot be a photograph. In order to be recreated for the printing process all artwork must be a graphic image.

Online customization

Online printing websites allow customers to upload artwork and type out other information they would like printed on the product. Using online previews a customer can see instantly what their product will look like. Customers can see the ink color their product will print in and the placement of their information. Online shoppers also have the option of picking free logos provided by the company to further customize their product.

Graphic design services

When it comes to Full Color printed products many online printing companies offer graphic design assistance. Full Color products require a customer to provide camera ready artwork in the correct size with bleeds. Most small business owners do not have access to this kind of expertise. For a fee customers can provide images and direction and a graphic designer will create artwork for them.
